People\’s General begins in the year 2005, as communist China begins an aggressive expansion into South East Asia. Here, you get to be a general in either the Red Army or NATO; you can choose to either continue the expansion into capitalist countries or try to stem the Red Tide. As with most military strategy and tactic games, you have to take control of your forces and achieve certain objectives; People\’s General makes this different by slowing the gameplay to a turn-about process, like a traditional war game, allowing for far more strategy without the time pressures.
